not much happiness to report so it'll be a fast monday post. steve was made redundant this morning and his last day is on saturday. we are financially okay for february but this throws us for sure. any plans we had are on hold including finding a bigger flat or travelling somewhere nice this summer. i cannot support us both on my salary alone. thankfully steve is actually letting me help, he wants me to help revise and format his CV and i've reached out to my friends to see what i can do to get steve a job sooner. also he might go into teacher training instead and polly has agreed to field any questions he might have since he's been on his training course since september and is best suited for advice in this matter.
