so my life blows in this aspect. so we'll focus on my materialistic side of indulgences and if only i had the money. since i can't help it...i enjoy material goods and the guilt that comes along with enjoying pretty things.
Givenchy S/S 2007 wedges:

6 inch heels, modelled here by the ridiculously stylish (and possibly the coolest person in the united states full stop - jane from sea of shoes ---> see seaofshoes.com. would that i had her life or her amazing mum. so these shoes are only available on a US website (with a UK equivalent WITHOUT THESE SHOES! AHH!) and they are a full size too big but i am trying to get them anyway. they're just that special.
Givenchy Basket Weave Gladiator wedges:
Givenchy Strappy Gladiators:
shoes in general i find to be such a wonderful love. not only can they dress up and down...EVERYTHING but they NEVER LET YOU DOWN. i almost got run over yesterday by some wanker who got angry at me for crossing IN A CROSSWALK when I HAD THE RIGHT OF WAY! and pleasantly yelled 'next time i'll run you over you fucking fat bitch' so you know...way to boost my self esteem buddy. i don't already cringe everytime i look in a mirror because of the weight i've added in the last 4 years. but if you stopped and waited i could sit in your car and lecture you for HOURS (literally) about all the healthy steps i'm taking (including minimal sugars and salts...and fried foods...and ridonkulous amounts of exercise i do every day) to get to a figure that is...acceptable.
OH HOW I DIGRESS. shut up sara and stop whining? why okay inner child voice, let's get back to the shoe porn:
Cesare Paciotti Red Mesh & Leather Pumps, 2009:
SWOON. Cesare Paciotti and Christian Louboutin are cut from the same cloth. almost literally. they are two designers who have studied with some of the same mentors and both use a red sole as a trademark. however Paciotti also uses that little dagger (LOVE!) and a darker shade of red than louboutin. these i am actually attempting to acquire but having issues since there is problems getting the boutiques in paris to send these shoes to the UK. but i might just call the parisian or italian boutiques and get them as a charge send...but then i wouldn't get my snazzy paciotti shopper bag. and it's all about walking out of a boutique with their named bag in your hand to show what you just purchased. especially in london where styles move so quickly...and to be frank...i ignore most london styles. i wear what i want. as most people should! diatrabe blah blah. back to shoes!Balmain Crystal Studded Sandals:
seriously. do i even need to begin to describe just how fucking BEAUTIFUL and just....dazzling these shoes are? especially on the gorgeous jennifer connelly (married to the equally gorgeous paul bettany...sometimes you get angry when beautiful people marry other beautiful people because it just isn't fair to the rest of the world to suffer from a lack of their genetics...but then you think about their children and just how much better they will be from the rest of us and maybe they could create a new race of fantabulous children of beautiful people ----am i creepy yet? sometimes i scare even myself!). but anyway...these shoes were available for purchase through Net-A-Porter for aournd $2500. yowza. i mean...wow. that's just so much money. but they're beautiful and belong on a red carpet. there are high street knockoffs - bebe, jeffery campbell, zara...etc. but as always (IMO) the high street knockoffs pale in comparison to the real thing.Ann Demeulemeester Lace Up Sandal Boots:
picture borrowed from seaofshoes.com...seriously this girl oozes style out her eyeballs. just obscene. but these ann d boots...i REALLY wasn't into until i saw them on her and now i adore them. they're just so strange and beautiful all at once. i feel like i want my personal style to be strange, beautiful, odd yet classic and refreshing all at the same time! no pressure there sara....well. hopefully this new light-hearted post will open up some insight into what's going on in my head. i am enjoying these kinds of posts so i'll probably continue with shoes and/or nail polishes! maybe even discuss the shoes i own, why i chose them and why i love them.
