it's all your fault

okay. so my fabulous michael perry boots arrived and i have come to a conclusion. designers purposefully omit padding underneath the balls of the feet in their shoes just to mess with me. it's like they don't care that there is a 4 inch incline your foot is resting on and is undeserving of something to cushion the blow between pavement and bone. it's just awful.

so i'm on the market for a non-ugly pair of shoes with lower heels. we'll see if that's even a possibility since the sentence is an oxymoron! lower heels = ugly!
